We have a proven track record with our friends at the Internal Revenue Service and have had very few audits compared to the national average, all with little or no changes made. We attribute this to years of training from a former IRS management employee and great mentor, the late Michael T. Santoli, CPA. Our clients most recent audits include a Real Estate Developer $20,000,000 per year in revenue, resulted in no change; a wholesale distributor $1,500,000 in revenue, $450 dollars due; a service business $500,000 per year in revenue, resulted in no change; a service business, $4,000,000 per year in revenue, $240,000 of tax originally assessed; resulted in no change; a physician whose prior accountant was charged with tax evasion, two years audited resulted in, no change.

Kempa & Company, CPAs, LLP participates in the American Institue of Certified Public Accountants Peer Review Program which enables a qualified outside CPA Firm to review our procedures and critique our work in terms of current standards. We have passed all of our reviews.

We have invested in time saving state-of-the-art software which enables us to present up to ten years of financial information at our discretion. Efficient time saving software translates to lower fees for our clients. It is integrated with a checkbook program that is very user friendly. One that our clients love and say is life changing in many ways, yes, life changing.

Glenn W. Kempa, CPA

Glenn graduated Hofstra University in May of 1984, a recipient of the Dean's Award for Community Service, has 20 years of diverse experience in the profession, is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The National Association of Tax Professionals. Prior to founding Kempa & Company, CPAs, LLP, Glenn was employed as an Auditing and Accounting Manager at the firm of Perlson, Touhy and Company, LLP, and as a senior accountant at Raich, Ende, Malter and Company. Glenn has donated countless numbers of hours to various not-for-profits in the area of financial services from leading the accounting for Walk-A-Thons to Chairing of Finance Committees. He has written for and been quoted in the American College of Physicians, also lectured other CPAs on the topics of Accounting and Auditing for the Foundation for Accounting Education. This is the educational branch of The New York State Society of CPAs where programs are constantly updated to educate CPAs on the latest developements in the accounting world today.
